Inteball and Vega Data Archiving

| We propose to complete our efforts to calibrate and combine interplanetary, magnetosheath, and magnetospheric observations from the two Interball-1 magnetometers. We will serve the merged data sets from mirrored sites at our home institutions (IZMIRAN and JHU/APL) and work with NASA/NSSDC personnel to add them to the interactive CDAWeb server. The resulting data set will be an integral part of NASA.s ISTP mission. In addition, we propose to translate, calibrate, and despike the Vega-1 and -2 interplanetary magnetometer observations. We will establish a WWW server and work with NSSDC personnel to add the Vega observations to the interactive COHOWeb data server, thereby completing the archival of all relevant interplanetary observations from these heliospheric spacecraft. |
