The Journey of the Sun-A Virtual reality Simulation: Date-Constrained Modelling and Visualization

| The goal of this research is to construct effective computer grpahics tools to create a navigable 3D data-constrained model of the galactic environment of the Sun, and render the models using state-of-the-art computer visualization techniques. Sophisticated modern methods of eveidence assimilation, probabilistic reasoning, and inference will be combined with extant multi-spectral data to reconstruct unknown portions of the measured data, which can then be modified by the expert user. |
